The Garden of Union is required to maintain certain “open hours” when the garden must be open and accessible by the public under the terms of our lease with GreenThumb and the City.
“Open Hours” means: (1) the gate is open during certain scheduled times, and (2) a member is on site to say hello to visitors and remind them of the posted rules if necessary. GOU’s open hours schedule is as follows:
Saturdays: 10am – 2pm
Sundays: noon – 6pm
Tuesdays: 2pm – 7pm (CSA in the garden)
Thursdays: 3pm – 8pm (CSA in the garden)
We would love it if members could help keep open hours once or twice (or more!) during the season. Use the calendar below to sign up for open hours, using the following instructions:
1. Click into the “OPEN HOURS” time slot that works best for you.
2. Click on the “MORE DETAILS” button at the bottom of the pop up window
3. The calendar detail will open. Type your full name where it says “[MEMBER NAME HERE]” and then click “SAVE” at the top. You can also add the event to your own Google calendar as a reminder that you signed up.
